Terms of service

Plain terms for holiday lighting and roof checks from Phoenix Holiday Lighting in Roswell, Georgia.

01

Quotes and measuring

Every price starts with a measurement at your house. We count the linear feet of roofline, look at how the roof is walked, and give you the total before anything is ordered. Written quotes hold for 30 days.

02

Scheduling and weather

Install dates depend on weather and roof conditions. We confirm the day before and we do not install in rain, ice or high wind.

03

Who owns the lights

The strands, clips, wire, timer and storage racks stay ours. Nothing is rented to you and nothing is added to your invoice for them. They are stored with us between seasons and go back on your house the next time we install.

04

Service through the season

If a strand or a section stops working between install and January, tell us and we come back within two business days. That return visit is part of the install price.

05

Removal and storage

We return in the first two weeks of January to take everything down, coil it and store it. If you want a different date, tell us before the end of December.

06

Returning customer and early booking discounts

A second season and every season after is 10% less than the first, because the strands are already cut to your roofline and stored. Reserving next season's date early takes another 5% off. Both show on your written quote before you commit, and both apply to the install price.

07

Moving or cancelling a date

Move or cancel an install up to 72 hours before your date and there is no charge. Inside 72 hours we may not be able to move the date because the routes are already set, and we will tell you before anything is charged.

08

What the roof check is, and is not

The roof check is a visual walk of the roof planes plus a photo report. It is not an engineering inspection, it is not a roof certification, and it is not a warranty that the roof is sound. We report what we can see and photograph from the roof surface.

09

Roof work, insurance and limits

Roof replacement and storm repairs are normally paid by your insurance carrier, not by you. We document the damage, meet your adjuster, and do the work the claim covers. You are responsible for your deductible and for any work the carrier does not approve, and we quote that to you before starting. Our responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question, and we are not responsible for roof conditions that existed before we arrived.

010

Damage and insurance

We carry insurance for the work we do on your property. If something is damaged during an install or a removal, tell us within 30 days and we will look at it with you.

011

Photos of the work

We may photograph a finished install and use it on this site or on social media. Tell us not to and we will not. We never publish your address or your name without asking.

012

Georgia law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. If we cannot settle something between us, the courts of Fulton or Cobb County have jurisdiction.
